Challenge Group International’s fee structure varies based on the type of engagement and the services provided. Every engagement is unique, and we will always work with the client to customize a compensation package that is beneficial to all parties. Following are examples of compensation arrangements that we have entered into in the past.
- Traditional Projects: Contractual retainer fees coupled with, in some cases, monthly advisory fees. This is the basis for many of our engagements.
- Business Development Engagements: A one-time success fee based on performance criteria, straight sales commissions, or overrides.
- Investment Banking: Placement fees for equity and/or debt based on a predetermined formula of success.
- Merger and Acquisition: Fees predicated upon the size of the transaction coupled with a Lehman type formula.
- Oil and gas asset sales: Royalty interests, overrides on production, and non-operating interests.
- Real Estate: A negotiated commission rate.
